An umbrella term for a number of first-class venues, The Wessex Conference
Centre is located in 450 acres of gorgeous Hampshire countryside. Each
well-equipped venue has something different to offer but all are (or can
be) self-contained and private – what you share with your delegates
or guests goes no further – even at coffee or lunchtime!
All venues benefit from natural daylight and superb AV equipment – choose
from the following:
- Westley Court: our newly refurbished, self-contained,
purpose-built conference and training centre, also licensed for civil ceremonies.
En suite bedrooms are available all year round
- Jane Austen: smaller than Westley Court,
suitable for training and smaller group meetings, also licensed for civil
ceremonies. Has a separate area for serving hot or cold buffet meals
- Chute:
newly refurbished boardroom, ideal for small group meetings and seminars
for up to 12
- Saxony: self-contained large venue, ideal for exhibitions
and conferences. Has floor to ceiling partitioning, allowing it to be
divided for greater flexibility
- Dickens Room: newly refurbished boardroom,
approximately twice the size of Chute (available daytime only)
- Tennyson
Room: newly refurbished boardroom, similar in size to Chute (available
daytime only)
- The Business Training Centre: includes 12 computers with
Windows XP installed, Pentium 4 processors with Floppy and CD drives
and Broadband internet access. Plus networked tutor’s MRU (Multimedia
Resource Unit) with DVD/Video combination, amplifier, wireless keyboard
and mouse, all linked to data projector.
- Norman Lecture Theatre: 100 tiered seat lecture room (available
during vacation time only)
- Classrooms: 16 modern classrooms which seat
up to 30 people. Some can be linked to make a double size room. Audio
loop (available during vacation time and weekends only)
- 450 acres of land – popular
with companies and corporations for Teambuilding activities
